Teaching&Research Group Leader Meeting
On the morning of 27th January, the teaching and research work summary meeting of Anqing Foreign Language School’s Junior High Department in the west campus was held at the second-floor conference room and attended by Vice Principal Xu Xuchang, Principal Assistant Ling Qian and Director Zhang Li. The meeting was chaired by Deputy Director Li Ping with the Teaching and Discipline Section.
In the first place, the teaching and research group leaders sorted out the work of the teaching and research groups in this semester, comprehensively summarized and exchanged on the teaching and research activities, education and research development, construction of the teaching and research group, classroom teaching, class listening and evaluation, competition guidance as well as highlights and deficiencies in the work.
In the second place, Director Zhang Li with the Teaching and Discipline Section fully affirmed the achievements of the group leaders and made clear the goal and direction of the new semester: in the New Year, Anqing Foreign Language School would enter the connotative development and focus on building the school’s distinctive culture.
In the third place, Principal Assistant Ling Qian summarized the meeting, hoping that teachers would not only implement research, lesson preparation and training in their teaching and research work, but also construct ‘three structures’: knowledge structure, problem structure and method structure. What’s more, teachers should make the best of the information platform and big data to scientifically and accurately analyze the situation of students, explore more and do more research to make the teaching and research work to a higher level. Principal Assistant Ling Qian pointed out that the teaching and research work should stress on four key words: learning, thinking, research and action so that we can learn through thinking, study through learning and make progress in action.
In the fourth place, Vice Principal Xu Xuchang asked each teaching and research group leader to put forward three suggestions to help everyone find the correct position, establish the view of major subjects and improve the cultivation education. In addition to continuing to do a good job in routine work, the teaching and research groups were supposed to strive hard to ‘make excellent and famous teachers’, have their own core team and genuinely build a quality-oriented ecuation base laying emphasis on cultivating innovative spirit and practical abilities.
To sum up, this teaching and research group leader work summary meeting is not only a summary of this semester’s teaching and research work, but also expolres a new idea for next term’s teaching and research work.
